A quick post to share a breakout session I hosted for 21CL’s #EdFutureDigital AI Symposium on Sept 19, 2023. This was an interesting event, with lots of presenters and takeaways for schools in adapting to the current (and potential future) landscapes of education in light of AI.
In this session, I take a leadership lens, sharing insights on our journey so far, and making reference to some resources for school leaders to think about and get going. A Vimeo link with transcription here.
One of the key messages is that school culture is far more powerful that any technological change. How does adaptation to GenAI align with your own school’s values and approaches? How does this affect your role in leading change?
